AP Exam Dates 2017

Vancouver Public Schools encourages and supports a college-going culture. The district offers Advanced Placement exams free of charge so that financial challenges do not preclude student participation in a valuable opportunity. AP end-of-course exams, administered through the College Board, provide high school students with opportunities to receive college credit (awarded based on exam scores), potentially saving them hundreds of dollars.
AP students registration is due March 9th for the May exams and opens Friday, February 24th. Included in the registration process is a fee waiver for families. Although there is no direct cost to any VPS student for AP exams, the district still pays a fee per every exam that students take. The fee that the district pays is reduced for each student who qualifies for a waiver.
Families can qualify for the fee waiver if they meet federal guidelines and fill out a verification form. The form should be returned via mail or turned into Rachel Damiano (Skyview AP Coordinator) by Thursday, March 9, 2017. The form and information can be found at this link: http://vansd.org/advanced-placement-testing-free-to-students.

Students: Be sure to set up your account at apscore.org so you can view your exam score(s). No scores will be sent via the U.S. mail.

If you have further questions, please contact Rachel Damiano or Abby Davis.
